check your hitch receivers
Two of our friends arrived with this story. Stopped and fueled and the hitch receiver fell off their MH's . Both would have had the toad off the MH and who knows what would have happened?

We were attending an alpenlite rally at Beaudry's rv in tucson once time so we walked around the rv lot and they had fifthwheels with the correct size ford trucks sitting beside the fifthwheels. I said to the salesman that would a great idea and he pulled out a card that showed what truck could carry the fifth's weight. I agreed with their thinking. I don't remember any 3/4 ton trucks were recommended

Diccor suprised me today
I am going to fix a small crack that leaks water . the crack is in the diccor so I was reading what is in diccor and it contains Petroleum distillates. Rubber roofs don't like this to be on the roof so I was very suprised to read this on the tube.

We are driving what is our best towing truck. If we traded I think the story would be what ever we bought or we would be disappointed of course.

IMO Cabbage hill is a worse climb than Siskiyou summit but Hwy 22 west out of Jackson Hole is the steepest I remember.
We drove HWY 22 once in our chev van. It was a tough pull for it and it had power. I have told many rv'rs to not use this road when towing. I know I would not tow on it.

the only thing I know about welding is I can't do it but some welds look like art work to me. Our KSH inbed fuel tank is welded like somebody knew how.

I am shocked you would not change the fuel filter before 40000 miles. I have changed ours 6 times in 41 K miles but maybe overkill.

We used the G 159 good years until the age deal and bought G 614's and the time will be up in early 2010 and new tires will be installed. the tires do not wear out unless there is a problem from the suspension.

We have been down to 17 degrees several nights in our 2001 35 ft alpenlite and used 2 electric heaters but why would anybody even want to do this in any rv?

Yes the tow mode should be on when towing and I believe some will tell you they do not but I never tow unless tow mode is on.

Enlighten us....why?
when you read about tow mode on the trucks it is easier to understand why it is better and sometimes (2 times) I forgot to hit the button I could tell the difference in taking off with the 13480 lbs alpenlite. Keeps the trannie running cooler.

2009 CRV battery dead after towing
Friend has this car and when they stop for the day the honda has a dead battery. Honda can't tell him why this happens. I hope you guys can help him.
